Нет. Не арифметическим большинством. Интеллектуальная элита в конце концов навязывает свои представления. Если её, конечно, раньше не вырежут. Но тогда народится другая элита. Простонародные представления могут длительное время сосуществовать с представлениями элиты, но элита их никогда не принимает.
